In accordance with the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Measures for the Establishment of Presidential Schools” No. PQ-4199 dated February 20, 2019, 14 Presidential Schools were established.
The Presidential Decree “On additional measures to further improve the activities of schools of art, creativity and specialized schools” (No. PQ-5188, July 19, 2021) was adopted.
Presidential Agency for the Development of Creativity and Specialized Schools was renamed the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions.
The resolution approved the composition of the Board of Trustees of the Fund. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The Fund for Supporting Talented Youth was established under the Presidential Agency for Educational Institutions.
In 2022, 14 Presidential Schools successfully passed the accreditation of the Cambridge International Organization and became official A Level examination centers, while in 2023, 6 Presidential Schools in the regions (Tashkent, Jizzakh, Bukhara, Andijan, Khiva and Navoi) were recognized as official centers for conducting SAT (Academic Assessment Test) international certificate exams.
